Bob Stackhouse

Bob Stackhouse is a consultant specializing in executive coaching, business improvement, finance, negotiations, and change management.

Bob is a veteran at creating infrastructure, efficient processes, workflow design, operating controls, and automation specially tuned to startup businesses, high growth companies and mergers. His skills were fine tuned during 30 years of employment in 3 banks. During his tenure he designed and implemented significant change (people, culture, technology, customers, processes & HR issues), managed large departments and was responsible for over 400 branches’ activities. Bob has significant broad industry exposure, having recommended or approved financing for over 3,000 businesses.
He is an active member of the Institute of Management Consultants and Treasurer for Management Consultants of Sacramento. These organizations drive ethical approaches to business consulting. Additionally, he serves as a Director for EnviroWorld Technologies, a startup company founded by Jack Miguel, producing equipment to reduce large scale energy use on AC inductive motors.

Larry Mandelberg

Larry Mandelberg is a Mergeronomist, Writer, Speaker and Trainer. He currently serves as Director for BullsEye Integration, Board Chair for Innovative Education Management and Registration Chair for the National Conference Organizing Committee of the Institute of Management Consultants USA (IMC).

With 3 decades of hands on business leadership, Larry has developed a rich history of experiences and mastered the art of analogy. He has the ability to relate complex ideas through simple stories using the language common to his audience creating instant credibility. He can teach people how to turn concepts into reality, and take a step-by-step procedure from process to implementation.

Mr. Mandelberg developed an eight step strategy for creating and executing strategic business models that produce sustainable, profitable growth. He defined an ROI-based method for evaluating technology acquisitions; directed business executive operations for eight companies spanning five different industries and markets. He launched five successful start-up companies, conducted a merger and completed a turn-around. He founded Sacramento’s first advocacy group for technology firms. Larry has been published nationwide and has been a regular columnist for Sacramento’s Business Journal for four years.

He regularly conducts workshops, seminars and training programs for managers and business leaders throughout the Sacramento region. He has spoken to groups such as ASTD, Alliance of CEO’s, Sacramento Entrepreneurship Academy, California Workforce Association and the Institute of Management Consultants USA.
Other affiliations include VP Administration for Temple Or Rishon, Member of IMC and the Sacramento Organizational Development Network, former member of the IMC National Ethics Committee, Program Chair for the IMC National Conference (Confab) Organizing Committee (2005-2007), past Board member of the Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and the Sacramento Entrepreneurship Academy.


David Stoebel, Ph.D., CPF

With over 35 years of professional experience and twelve as an independent Management Consultant, Dave Stoebel brings a wealth of experience to helping his clients. Dave is an International Association to Facilitators Certified™ Professional Facilitator who specializes in helping groups use align their creative energy to identify root causes and design specific solutions for complex problems.

His approach, stresses setting consensus goals and structuring an environment of respect and opportunity that recognizes individual styles of interacting and decision-making. He combines these with a special focus on effective implementation.

From the initial steps in defining a problem or situation through the design and installation phases he stresses the critical importance of broad based involvement, realistic assessment, individual responsibility and outcome measurement so the client achieves desired results.

His skills have proven especially useful to clients who are trying to align management teams or workgroups around a common goal or vision. His highly structured but participative style of facilitation ensures buy-in from all participants while moving the group forward toward the desired goal.

He has been successful in such diverse engagements as strategic planning, project design, work process restructuring and working group integration. His skills are particularly useful in an acquisition or other transformational situations where group members need to arrive at mutual understanding and trust.

During his career, Dave has worked in a variety of environments including health care, banking, tourism, education and the not-for-profit world.

Dave is also a trained research scientist who brings a disciplined, evidence based approach to any assignment and helps clients identify and use the best information available to solve their problems.
 


James A. Kaupanger, PMP, CPF

Jim helps organizations on their transformation journeys to develop quality solutions and integrate change. He has led projects, harnessed conflict, built collaboration among diverse groups, and bridged the communication gap between technical and non-technical people and other groups in transformation for over thirty years. Jim quickly builds trust and creates success for the team—he listens for understanding, develops common goals, and overcomes roadblocks to deliver results.

He has a successful track record with examples of success such as:

  • Used project and requirements gathering experience and skills to discover a significant requirement otherwise missed at a California State agency thus saving the agency over $200,000.
  • Facilitated a workshop with twenty-five attorneys for strategic planning. Helped the group come to consensus on thirteen strategic goals in one, four-hour session.
  • Helped competing groups harness their conflict, come together as problem solvers in a transformation that reduced their primary business process by 30%.
  • Helped a local agency group that was in conflict and crisis overcome their conflict and then build consensus on a strategic plan.
  • Facilitated the employees of a foster care and adoption agency to pinpoint the number one method to transform and improve their placement of foster children in foster homes.
  • Helped clients discover what they truly needed and then led and inspired developers to deliver the right solutions where others had failed.

Jim is a Certified Professional Facilitator® (CPF) and a certified Project Management Professional® (PMP)—one of fewer than a dozen professionals in the United States with this combination of certifications.

He has worked with clients that include organizations in a wide variety of industries: State and local government, health insurance, physicians, franchisors, construction, light manufacturing, packing houses, packaging, retail, wholesale, accounting, auditing, software development, and communications in commercial, government, and non-profit organizations.

He has a Bachelors degree in Human Relations and Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco and an Associates degree in Computer Studies from Sierra College. His projects have been recognized as industry firsts and industry best-practices and have been chosen for national distribution. His success at work and in the community earned for him Health Net’s Heart and Soul Award.
